I have lately become BOM Chairman for the Bayberry Quilters Guild. This is the February BOM. The Guild will do a red and white challenge for the next show, which is in August, so I am doing BOMs the winter season in red and white. Of course February was a natural.
The quilt in the header is 10 x 25 and illustrates the poem that is on the white strips near the bottom. Go to mid-Novmeber post for the text of the poem.
I am a much younger woman who finds she has lived over 70 years. Most of the stereotypes don't apply. On Calender Pages I mostly write about my quilting experiences. On the Big 7-0 I'm exploring what hitting the big 7-0 is like and relating what interests me, what I'm reading and thinking about. I don't think I'm a typical "white haired woman" but I don't think I'm atypical either. I invite your comments in agreement of disagreement about what I post. I hope you are sometimes entertained and sometimes your interest is piqued. I'd love a dialog.
