Taking braids to a whole level

This photo of an unnamed student in an unnamed classroom has gone viral on the Internet and I can certainly see why. 

I wonder how long it took to achieve this arrangement of braids.  Sometimes about all I can say when I see something like this is that people have endless creativity.
