Spring art quiltie

I borrowed, shamelessly, Barbara McKie's "Dandy-lion" idea for a small spring themed quiltie.   Her lions were photo transfers but mine is cut from a piece of commercial fabric. The  petals of the dandelion (fused and then sewn to form the quilting, seemed a brighter more accurate yellow when I chose the fabric.  The leaves are a remembered guess what they should look like because the few dandelions in my lawn right now, are so short stemmed they seem to have laid on the ground with no stalk and no leaves. The taller ones need more sun, longer days -- it won't be long. It's about 10 x12.
